Edith Hamilton - Edith Hamilton (August 12, 1867 - May 31, 1963) was a classicist and educator before she became a writer on mythology. Her most famous books are The Greek Way (1930) and Mythology (1942).

Mythology (book) - Mythology: Timeless Tales of Gods and Heroes, usually known as simply Mythology, written by Edith Hamilton in 1942, is a collection of Greek, Roman, and Norse myths that were written by classical authors and sources. Since its publication, it has become one of the most read, powerful, and critically-acclaimed books of Western and Classical mythology, and is frequently used in college as an initiatory text.

Mythology - The word mythology (from the Greek μυολογία mythología, from μυολογειν mythologein to relate myths, from μυος mythos, meaning a narrative, and λογος logos, meaning speech or argument) literally means the (oral) retelling of myths – stories that a particular culture believes to be true and that use the supernatural to interpret natural events and to explain the nature of the universe and humanity. In modern usage, "mythology" is either the body of myths from a particular culture or religion (as in Greek mythology, Egyptian mythology or Norse mythology) or the branch of knowledge dealing with the collection, study and interpretation of myths.

Spanish mythology - Spanish mythology is the study of the folk tales and myths of Spain. They include Galician mythology, Asturian mythology, Catalan mythology and Basque mythology.
